The best team that uses a Microsoft API or Device (Cognitive Services, Bot Services, IoT Hub, or Functions) will be rewarded automatic entry in Imagine Cup 2019 Semi-Finals and two chances to become one of the few elite teams at our regional finals, plus Xbox One Xs for each team member!
Best and Most Creative Use of the Standard Library Platform
You can qualify by using APIs that exist on Standard Library, by building your own APIs on Standard Library and shipping them to the Standard Library cloud, or a combination of both. Each member of the winning team will receive a Nintendo Switch!
Best hack or app using the Interac e-Transfer Open API
The team that best uses the Interac e-Transfer Open API (BETA) will receive $1000.
Best use of IoT and or AI to help foster sustainable cities by Telus
The 1st place team will receive a $800 pre-paid Visa gift card and the 2nd place team will receive a $200 pre-paid Visa gift card! Both teams will receive preferential placement in the Telus application process!
Best Use of Google Cloud Platform
Use any Google Cloud Platform product (including Firebase) to qualify. See all our products at https://cloud.google.com/products/. Each member of the top two teams will get a Google Home Mini.
Best use of IBM Watson Visual Recognition API
Each member of the winning team will receive an Ultimate Ears BOOM 2 Waterproof Bluetooth Wireless Speaker. See https://www.ibm.com/watson/services/visual-recognition/ for more details about the API.
Best Car App using the Smartcar API
The best car app built using the Smartcar API will receive Google Home Minis and Amazon gift cards (one per team member).

The prize goes to the team that best leverages the power of Intel. Each member of the winning team will receive an Echo Dot (3rd Gen).
Best Aragon App by ChainSafe
The winning team will receive 2,500 DAI (pegged 1 to 1 with USD).
Most Innovative Solution by RBC
The team with the most innovative solution will receive Visa Gift Cards (Amount TBD), and guaranteed interviews for a summer co-op position with RBC’s GTI (Global Technology Infrastructure) team.
We are looking for a solution which addresses a current problem or pain point using the following criteria: the solution is distinctive or fundamentally different from existing approaches (original), and/or the solution is explained clearly and concisely from the concept to the final product.
Best health care focused app by Hypercare
The team with the best health care focused app will be rewarded lunch with the Hypercare executive team, guidance on commercializing your product, and an option to interview for a full-time position.
Best Domain Registered with Domain.com
Register a domain using Domain.com during the weekend. Each team may submit one entry per person on the team. Each winning team member will receive a Raspberry Pi & PiHut Essential Kit.
EPAM Engineering Excellence Challenge
The team with the best implementation of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or Machine Learning will receive zan Altec wireless waterproof Bluetooth speaker!

Best IoT Hack using a Qualcomm Device
Use a Qualcomm device, like the Dragonboard 410C, in your IoT project. Each winning team member will receive their own DragonBoard 410C.
